Hog Roast Luau

Join us at Emrick Lake Campground & Resort for a Luau of fun, food, and festivities as we celebrate our Hog Roast Luau Day! On August 16th-18th, we'll be hosting a Hawaiian-themed event that's sure to be a blast for the whole family.

The highlight of the day will be our hog roast on Saturday evening. Our talented chefs will be roasting a whole hog on a spit, basting it with our secret blend of spices and marinades, and serving it up hot and juicy. You won't want to miss this mouthwatering feast, which will be accompanied by sides like pineapple coleslaw, sweet potato fries, and macaroni salad.

But that's not all! We'll also have plenty of other activities and entertainment to keep you busy throughout the weekend. Here's a sneak peek at what's on the schedule:

• Hula lessons: Learn how to sway your hips and move your arms like a pro with our hula lessons. We'll have a skilled instructor on hand to teach you the basic steps and help you put together a short routine to show off to your friends.
• Limbo contest: How low can you go? Test your flexibility and balance in our limbo contest, where you'll need to duck under a bamboo pole without touching the ground. The winner will receive a special prize!
• Tiki bar: Cool off with a tropical drink from our tiki bar, which will be serving up fruity cocktails, frozen margaritas, and other refreshing beverages all weekend long.
• Live music: Dance the night away to the sounds of our live band, who will be playing a mix of Hawaiian classics, party favorites, and original tunes.

And of course, there will be plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of our campground and resort. Take a dip in the lake, go for a hike, or simply lounge in a hammock and soak up the sun.
